destinations for honeymoon you may never have considered. Each honeymoon destination has a blue link to
enable you to get more information and likely costs.
We start in the Indian Ocean and a tiny island in the Seychelles for the first top destinations for
honeymoon
Fregate Island is a tiny granite island a short flying distance from
Mahe in the Seychelles, almost on the equator. It must be one of the most perfect places to spend at least part
of a honeymoon, and unbelievably scenically attractive. This is as close to paradise as it gets, with the whole
island taken up by the resort. There are only fifteen traditional villas with thatched roofs, and talcum powder
sand on every one of the seven beaches. The rates aren’t cheap, but then it is after all going to be your one
and only honeymoon, but are inclusive of all meals and soft drinks. After arriving there is absolutely nothing
to worry about, just turn up and relax. You will have a private butler service, and each villa has its own
private infinity pool, with two other resort pools. You will have complimentary WiFi, CD and DVD players,
private gardens and a Jacuzzi. Fregate is eco friendly and much of the produce you will eat in the two
restaurants comes from the island. This could be the perfect answer for your honeymoon, and for more information about Fregate island CLICK HERE
Top destinations for honeymoon need not be expensive, and so for our second we travel to north west Africa to
Morocco and the city of Taroudant.
The Palais Salam is in some respects a hotel of two parts. It has the
old and the new, with the whole being enclosed right in the city walls. Indeed the old part of the hotel is a
former palace, and as a honeymoon destination this part is really quite romantic. The Palais Salam is a
fascinating choice for a honeymoon. Many people go to Agadir in Morocco but not so many journey on south to the
walled city of Taroudant. The Palais Salam started life as a palace, and is literally built into the walls of
the old city. It is a hotel of gardens, fountains, banana trees, and courtyards, and if you choose to stay in
the slightly faded splendour of the old palace part it is very romantic indeed. You will be well fed, well
looked after and you are within walking distance of the souk. Perhaps not as glamorous as other hotels featured
here, the Palais Salam will give you a much more authentic feeling of the old Morocco, and the decor in the old
part of the hotel is to wonder at. The hotel has two pools, a hamman, and a two restaurants the Moroccan being
especially recommended. Don't book this hotel expecting modern luxury. However, do book it if you want a place
with a special atmosphere, lots of history, and charming gardens to explore. For more information about the Palais Salam CLICK HERE
Sometimes you need to look at outrageous top destinations for honeymoon, so for our third we travel to the BVI
in the Caribbean.
Guana Island is a private Caribbean Island Resort in The British Virgin Islands, it covers 850
acres and is one of the largest of the British Virgin Islands. It is very much a private island resort, a
real getaway. You’ll get there by boat from the Airport at Beef Island.
There are only fifteen rooms in white stone
cottages, so the maximum number of guests at any one time would be thirty, which in over eight hundred acres is
not what anyone could call crowded but then again one has to assume that anyone on a private island honeymoon or
wanting a total getaway would be looking for.
Rooms are spacious, with a separate sitting area
and a private terrace with glorious views. The bathrooms have an extra large shower and good amenities. Guana
Island is all inclusive, in that you get three meals a day plus wines at dinner and lunch, afternoon tea, coffee
and snacks, plus all activities on the island. Guana Island has seven quite superb beaches. If you need
21st Century facilities and constant entertainment then this private island getaway won’t be for you. There will
always be a member of staff with a warm smile, offering unobtrusive but very effective friendly service. In fact
you will feel like royalty the service is so good. Private island honeymoon food needs to be special, and the
five star resort of Guana Island doesn’t disappoint. For more information about Guana Island CLICK

The fourth of our Top Destinations for Honeymoon, shows that top family resorts can be great
as well, and so we journey to Antigua in the Caribbean.
Carlisle Bay Antigua is a great place for a honeymoon , and it is very
child friendly too. It is stylish, and very definitely a luxury resort, with the kind of facilities and service
you would hope for. The layout of the superb accommodation lends itself to a separation between families and
couples, added to this, even when the resort is full the design leaves you feeling it isn't. If you are
used to top end treatment, high class facilities, outstanding staff, then you will love it here. All this
without even mentioning the quality of the food in the two restaurants, not something the Caribbean is noted
for. The clientele are mostly British, and what children are there seem extremely well behaved, which may not be
a coincidence. You will find yourself really able to relax here, there is plenty or nothing for you to do, and
the unobtrusive and efficient staff will ensure you are happy. To learn more about Carlisle Bay, and what it costs CLICK HERE
Our fifth top destinations for honeymoon takes us all the way to Thailand, and once again
proves you don't need modern high tech five star glitz.
Charm Churee Villa Resort and Spa is located on Koh Tao which is a
beautiful island just north of Koh Samui in Thailand. The villa resort sits on its own almost private beach and
is only accessible on arrival by water taxi. For a honeymoon you should book a huge Sunset Villa. They
really are very big, with two balconies overlooking the water. No television or DVD's which is great, nor are
there phones in the rooms, so it is a complete escape from the stresses of planning a wedding. This place has
real rustic charm, and food that is absolutely glorious, with a barefoot ambience based on a nice beach, and a
great beach bar. There are steps and boulders and narrow paths, but it adds to the feeling of romance. If you
want to eat out then the nearest village is only fifteen minutes away, and if you want to scuba dive, or snorkel
there is an inviting clear turquoise sea right outside your door. To find out more about Charm Churee Villa Resort and Spa, to check costs etc CLICK
