 Fregate Island is a tiny granite island a short flying distance from Mahe in the Seychelles, almost on the equator. Top destinations for honeymoon need not be expensive, and so for our second we travel to north west Africa to Morocco and the city of Taroudant.

The Palais Salam is in some respects a hotel of two parts. It has the old and the new, with the whole being enclosed right in the city walls. Indeed the old part of the hotel is a former palace, and as a honeymoon destination this part is really quite romantic. The Palais Salam is a fascinating choice for a honeymoon. Many people go to Agadir in Morocco but not so many journey on south to the walled city of Taroudant. The Palais Salam started life as a palace, and is literally built into the walls of the old city. It is a hotel of gardens, fountains, banana trees, and courtyards, and if you choose to stay in the slightly faded splendour of the old palace part it is very romantic indeed. Guana Island is a private Caribbean Island Resort in The British Virgin Islands, it covers 850 acres  and is one of the largest of the British Virgin Islands. It is very much a private island resort, a real getaway. You’ll get there by boat from the Airport at Beef Island.
