The Baray Villa is actually a collection of villas behind Kata beach and is a real escape from the very noisy, very busy streets in Phuket. You will have your own small private pool, which leads into the main pool which can only be accessed by a few villas. In fact the pools of which there are three are all connected with a final pool which connects all the villas together. The quality of service is possibly the best you will get anywhere. The staff will probably be the best and most willing and attentive you will find anywhere. Your two storey villa will be absolutely sumptuous, superbly furnished, and decorated in Arabian style. It is absolutely huge for two people, and in addition you will have your own personal assistant. None of this is obvious when you enter, until you get into this oasis, which is really like a Royal palace.. The whole area is beautifully shaded by trees and bushes, there are waterfalls, sculptures, nice corners to sit and relax, all very romantic indeed. The food is very good indeed, and of course you are but a few yards away from restaurants and bars where you can sample even more of the beautiful local food. The perfect honeymoon destination. Number three of our great places for vacation is the island of Tenerife in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa

The Hotel Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden is recognised by many as the number one hotel on Tenerife, and the Canary Islands. The words opulent, quality and attention to detail are the most applicable, with staff who are both friendly and very caring at the same time. The rooms are light, airy and decently large, and it's nice to have a hallway with a second door, and the beds unlike other hotels are large and very comfortable. An outstanding feature is the food, with the huge breakfasts being as good as you will get anywhere. The Spa whilst expensive offers quality treatments, with indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, steam rooms, and an ice temple. Overall the facilities are outstanding, with the pool area and the gardens exceptional. The average age of the clientele here is on the older side, and it would probably not be the best choice for a family with young children. It is however in Puerto de la Cruz a lovely part of Tenerife, and there is plenty to explore, and good restaurants and bars close by. For the fourth of our great places for vacation we go to the Grenadines in the Caribbean

Palm Island Resort is an idyllic tropical hideaway close to the southern tip of St Vincent with forty three guest rooms and five white sand beaches. Probably best described as a vacation in paradise, this is the perfect place if you want to get away from the stresses and strains of life. The island is absolutely beautiful, there is a lovely pool and well kept gardens, and nice walks round the island. this is an all inclusive resort, but it doesn't feel like it. If something in either of the two restaurants you want isn't on the menu, all you have to do is ask, and the chef will almost certainly cook it. The portions are generous, and if you want more then just ask!! The staff are excellent and always use your name, and you are made to feel like old friends. It is a great honeymoon destination but also ideal for families as the staff are fantastic with the kids. If you can book the stunning Sea Grape Suites then they are secluded, modern and luxurious ideal for romance. Pacific Resort Aitutaki has only 27 luxurious beachfront suites, bungalows and villas, and there can be very few more beautiful destinations than this. Surrounded by the turquoise clear waters of the Aitutaki lagoon, this hotel regularly wins awards. Mazagan Beach Resort lies less than an hour's drive south of Casablanca, and is developing a great reputation as a Gary Player designed golf resort. It has five hundred rooms and suites with 11 restaurants and bars, superb leisure facilities and a Spa. A great family resort with loads of beach activities, and a magnificent pool, not forgetting the casino. The rooms are of the standard you would expect from a five star resort. The food quality is excellent especially the Seafood and Moroccan restaurants, but drinks are expensive so bringing duty frees makes sense. The children's club is very good, and the staff there and in the rest of the resort are very caring.
