The North Male Atoll or North Kaafu Atoll is the main centre of tourism and has the largest number of resorts. Located not far away from the airport runway, this sanctuary of white sand beaches, shallow turquoise blue lagoons and exclusive art resorts provides a great cross section of hotels to suit different pockets and tastes. Many of the resort islands are close to the airport so transfer can be made very quickly, often in less than 30 minutes by speedboat
When you consider which hotel or atoll you want to stay on, you need to consider the transfer time from the airport in Male.
