Maia Luxury Resort & Spa far exceeded our expectations when we stayed there in late January. This is a fantastic getaway destination, a real romantic island hideaway, on a perfect private beach.

Our villa could only be described as large, extremely well furnished with high quality materials. Our king sized bed was very comfortable, something you don’t always find even in the best five star resorts.

It also included an ice machine, and an ipod!!.

Everyone thinks of the Seychelles as a winter holiday destination, and Seychelle Island Vacations to one of the increasing number of Seychelles Five Stars Hotels tend to be taken between November and March.

The Seychelles are truly paradise, with extraordinary beaches on almost every island, and they are virtually deserted. The forests are beautifully lush and green, and the underwater sights are amazing with more fish than you could ever dream of, whilst the colors of the sea will leave you spellbound. Another wonderful and man made sight is the lack of high rise hotels, as buildings have to be lower than the palm trees.

This article makes the assumption, that  island hopping means visiting other islands in The Seychelles for the purpose of staying there. You see it is possible to visit  the Sainte-Anne Marine Park on day and half day trips to include the six small islands of Moyenne, Longue, Cerf, Rond and Cachee, to include snorkeling, all from the main island of Mahe .

The short answer is that there may not be a best time to visit the Seychelles.

My first visit was in mid February, which was a no options trip, we saw an unbelievable...................................

Is a trip to the Seychelles, a trip to paradise, or is it only a marketing ploy.

Let me say this, if you have never been to the Seychelles, then you could be excused for thinking the expression ‘Seychelles a trip to Paradise’ is only a marketing ploy. That is until your aircraft gets close into landing.........................
