This quaint little guest house is built in the Portugese Colonial style, copying older mansions, and has some elegance to it. The Bougainvillea prides itself on the very personal touch of Lourenco and his staff, and the ambience they create makes you feel very comfortable, almost part of their family. There is a lovely garden and a nice  of the hills, and the guest house is in a quiet area.
It would be fair to say that one of the outstanding features of the Bougainvillea Guest House is the attention to detail. It is a whole lot of small things which put together help to make it the outstanding place to stay. By this is meant the overall spotlessness, the service, and of course the staff who without exception are both lovely and extremely helpful.
You need to understand that there is no pool, or even a restaurant, which happily means you have to go out and explore, which surely is what a vacation should be all about.

The Bougainvillea Guest House Goa consists of six very stylish suites. Each has French windows leading to a balcony. The suites are all air conditioned with cable TV, and of course 24 hour security, well furnished and as a nice touch have fresh flowers daily
If you can, book and stay in the Penthouse. It is just right for your honeymoon in Goa
 The elegant penthouse with a large terrace is a perfect place for a honeymoon. Bougainvillea guest house has a beautiful view of the green garden and hills.

Staff at the Bougainvillea Guest House Goa

Lourenco sets the standards and his staff follow him faultlessly. You will want for nothing staying at the Bougainvillea. Be it renting bicycles, or mopeds, or getting a taxi, it all seems to happen in an instant. Lourenco also knows everything about the immediate area in terms of good restaurants for dinner or where to go to find the best beach activities. To summarise how good the staff are would be to say that nothing is too small for them to care about, and they make a nice little Guest House into brilliant.
Finally, don’t worry about airport collection and delivery, this will all be arranged before you arrive by Lourenco who will send a driver.

Food at the Bougainvillea

There is no real restaurant as such, but the breakfasts outside are a work of art. Eating out in Goa is easy and inexpensive, so Lourenco will soon sort out where you are going to eat, and it isn’t far at all to the beach and the village of Candolim. There is a very good kitchen and Lourenco and his staff will cook for you on request, and even buy in fresh seafood.
