Our third tropical vacation spot is in the most southerly point of the Caribbean, totally unspoilt and below the hurricane belt

Los Roques
Situated in the Southern Caribbean, about 80 miles north of Caracas Venezuela, and well south of the hurricane belt, these almost uninhabited atolls are in fact a national park. There is one town, 850 square miles of lagoons, reefs and beaches. No cruise ships no large hotels, just miles of white sand and sublimely clear turquoise seas. This is the Caribbean in the days before mass tourism. To get to Los Roques it is a 35 minute flight from Caracas, and you will really you have found the best tropical vacation spot possible.

Hoi An Beach
Ha My Beach is in Vietnam, and has been described by many as breathtakingly beautiful. It is part of an almost unboken beach which runs down the length of central Vietnam. Very close to the story book village of Hoi An. There is excellent seafood at great prices, clean white sand and not too many people!!

Sokha Beach
In Cambodia and well recognised as the best beach in Sihanoukville with fine white sand and shallow water. It is also extremely clean and well maintained. The water is clean and clear and shallow for a long way out, and warm!! All of this makes it safe. If you do a tour and go to Angkor Wat then it is a good idea to relax on this beach after touring. The Sokha Beach Resort maintains the beach, but also reserves about 80% of it for its guests. It is a great resort, and to take full advantage of this wonderful beach you would be well advised to check it out. However you can buy a pass for the day which allows you the use of the hotel pool as well, but Europeans don't seem to have any problem just walking in. It's worth paying to use such a beautiful beach.

Benguerra Island
It is the second biggest island in the Bazaruto Archipelago off the coast of Mozambique. With stunning white sand beaches, great diving, horse riding, and magnificent fishing, it is a real live paradise. The coral reef's here are intact, have fantastic multicoloured fish, and Benguerra is a real escape from everything. The ideal place to relax after a Tanzanian safari.

Bwejuu Beach
On the east coast of Zanzibar, Bwejuu beach runs for about 10km of beautiful white sand with a wide coral lagoon and turquoise sea on one side and behind are groves of coconut palms. The sand is soft as putty, and the views are just stunning. Has been voted in the top thirty island beaches in the world, and with its blindingly white sand it is just beautiful. At high tide you can swim off the beach safely and at low tide you can almost walk out to the reef.
