Manda Bay Lodge is a small romantic boutique lodge on Manda Island  in Kenya, sitting right on the Indian Ocean, in an idyllic position on the Lamu peninsula. There are 16 luxurious thatched cottages, mostly right on a beautiful beach. Angsana Resort on Ihuru  The obvious question is why pick and island in the Maldives as one of the top beach vacation resorts, and the answer quite simply is the lovely beach!! You will find Angsana Ihuru relativel close to Mahe in the North Male Atoll, and you will get there in around 25 minutes. Ihuru is a small island and the Angsana has only 45 thatched roof villas. This is the perfect place for a beach honeymoon with a perfect shallow lagoon, a reef that is pretty well totally unspoilt and the kind of beach you would see on a picture postcard, only it is even more perfect than that. The Cherai beach is located in the Vypin island of Kochi and is probably the most romantic beach in Kerala, in fact in India as well. Even better beaches than the Seychelles, incredible service, both sophisticated and yet understated. Accommodation on the beach is a must with wall to wall windows, looking over a beach that is talcum powder white, and a sea that has every shade of turquoise and blue. The food is quite outstanding with an a la carte menu and daily specials. In fact the chef will cook pretty well what you want, but highly recommended is the beach club paella, and the BBQ's. The eighth of our beach vacation resorts is on Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef

The Beach Club Hamilton Island Right on the beach, this exclusive boutique resort is the only place to stay on Hamilton Island. It is an adults only resort with about 50 rooms. The rooms all have large private balconies or courtyards and face directly onto the absolutely beautiful private beach, and a sea which is really very calm and warm and every shade of blue you can imagine.If you like laid back undressed sophistication then the Beach Club will suit you well. It should be no surprise that we go to the Pacific Ocean to Tahiti in French Polynesia for the ninth of our beach vacation resorts, where beautiful beaches are abundant 

Te Tiare Beach Resort Frequently described as the perfect French Polynesia Luxury Hotel on the Tahitian Island of Huahine. Off the beaten track, and exotic, only accessible by boat, this is the type of place that photographs cannot do justice to.

For the tenth of our beach vacation resorts we are going to the relatively unspoilt beaches of Cambodia

Sokha Beach Resort  Sitting in over fifteen acres and a mile of beachfront of the best white sand beach in Sihanoukville The Sokha Beach Resort was voted amongst the best new hotels in the world in 2005.

There are 166 rooms with large bathrooms and separate showers and lots of fluffy towels. The swimming pool is huge, and there are plenty of sunbeds, both there and on the beach, with attentive staff to look after you. The beach is pristine clean, with finer and whiter sand than Phuket. Everything is immaculate in and around the hotel.
The Spa is beautiful and by Western standards the price is very reasonable. It has a huge Jacuzzi and modern steam room which all guests can use free. You will enjoy the breakfasts in the air conditioned restaurant with nice touches like an omelette chef, and a noodle chef.
