It is difficult to do justice to the La Casa Que Canta in Zihuatanejo , but for a start, you only have to think of no kids. no noises. No distractions...just pure beauty.

You are met at the airport with transportation, and the drive doesn’t take long, and on arrival you will be met by the staff with the usual drinks etc.

Our accommodation was in El Mumullo, in a junior suite with a plunge pool . The suite was quite amazing, with such beautiful views. It is such a joy to have breakfast delivered to the suite, and then to eat it on the balcony looking out to sea.

If you get the chance stay at the private residence, because you will feel as if you are almost the only people at La Casa Que Canta , because when we were there we hardly saw anyone. This meant we could really relax and unwind.

It needs to be added that the food is fantastic, and you’ll not eat better fresh fish anywhere on the planet, and it will come as no surprise that the service is beyond reproach. Whatever you do, have dinner in your suite at least once, not only for the food but the service!!

Overall, La Casa QQue Canta is exceptional, and, although expensive, I thought compared to competitors in the Caribbean and throughout Mexico that it offered pretty good value.

Inall be sure to g out for dinner a bit as there are many good restaurants that can offer a little variety.
