The Ada Hotel is a real gem of a hotel, hidden away behind high walls, and gardens overlooking Turkubuku Bay in Bodrum Turkey, and very close to the beach. There are fourteen rooms, all with private terraces or balconies, and the two suites share a rooftop pool. The hotel owns two gulets, so you can explore the coastline, a private pier overlooking the bay, and a marble Hamman for the day end relaxation.

When we visited the Ada Hotel, the first thing we did was to organize to be met at Bodrum airport, which was a great start to our short holiday.

We stayed in The Executive Suite which was very comfortable, with two large private terraces, where we could sit and enjoy the hotel’s special breakfast. The terrace was a real highlight, with cushioned seats, overlooking the Aegean, and we found it difficult to leave!!

Perhaps we were fortunate at the time of year we chose to go, because the Ada Hotel was not full. This was fantastic because we had the huge Hamman to ourselves never mind the pool, the indoor Jacuzzi, and the private cinema – fantastic!!

We enjoyed the food in the Cellar restaurant, and the Ada beach restaurant, although using the word beach is stretching things a bit.
There is a pier, and there are sun loungers, and you can swim, and the sea is clean. I missed my tropical beach really.
