I’m not sure whether or not to write about the Coco Point Lodge on Barbuda because it is such a secret place known only to a lucky few, that I’m worried it somehow gets spoilt. Then I realise, that there can never be more than 68 guests on a 164 acre property, so why not allow other people to find out about it.

Firstly you need to understand that this paradise doesn’t have telephones or televisions in the rooms, so no intrusions at all.

Secondly Coco Point is family owned and managed, and that always makes a terrific difference in my opinion, so there are lots of little touches, noticeable hands on personal service, and that is what makes it such a special place.

Paradise would not be too strong a word here, and the number of returning guests bears witness to that, and not only couples, but children as well, because there is plenty to keep them occupied too.

The Coco Point Lodge is all inclusive, and you may have shied away from all inclusive deals before, but this is quite different, and totally non commercialised. The best thing of all, is that you not only throw your worries away here, you can also discard your wallet, and your credit cards!!

The food is quite superb, with three full meals every day, there is a kitchenette in your bungalow, and the fridge/bar contains real quality brands.

The staff are friendly efficient, and helpful, and our accommodation was just quality.

Things to look forward to are the Sunfish Regatta, the desserts, the beach, and the type of people you will meet, because they like you are attracted to the same style of vacation.

Go to Coco Point and enjoy
