The traditional and elegant Golden Lemon has 26 individually decorated rooms by the ocean, in a converted 17^th century French Manor house. It has been a romantic getaway since it was converted with superb taste in 1963. It’s a genuine getaway because it is away from the tourist parts of St Kitts, being positioned in a small fishing village amongst coconut trees.

The Golden Lemon is beautifully situated on a lovely palm fringed golden beach which has black volcanic sand flecks. It has been described as the best and most romantic hideaway on either St. Kitts or Nevis.

To get to St. Kitts and the Golden Lemon, is fairly straightforward, and there are a number of direct flights from the UK, and the USA . From Europe, you can fly into Antigua or St. Maarten which has easy onward connections.

Dinner at the Golden Lemon might be taken in the candle lit poolside garden, or on the front terrace, or in the very romantic dining room. You can of course have the normal American breakfast brought to your suite or room, even served in bed!!

The kitchen well deserves its gourmet reputation, with the breakfast porridge particularly famous, and the fresh fish caught in Dieppe Bay. There are no restaurants nearby, but you wouldn’t want to go anyway!!

Staff are the last piece of the jigsaw that makes a good hotel into a great one, and the Golden Lemon is blessed with staff that are both friendly and efficient.
