The wonderful thing about all the villas and the bungalow is the privacy and seclusion, plus of course the views. In thruth you could stay here and never see another guest if that was your choice. each villa having a plunge pool, and its own dock, you can see why many rich and famous people seeking anonymity choose Cayo Espanto.

The equipment and furnishings in the Villas are nothing short of fantastic. Apart from the beautiful furnishings, very comfortable beds, very expensive sheets, and fancy mosquito netting which you do need, you will find surround stereo, wireless internet, and huge flat screen TV's with satellite connection.  Then if you are bored you will find lots of movies to watch.

The truth is, if you want to disengage from the world you can, because everything you need is here, even your meals are taken here, or in fact almost anywhere you want. Perfect for the Belize honeymoon!!

Staff at the Cayo Espanto

The staff are legendary, from the moment of your first contact in the USA office until you leave and beyond you will be bowled over.

Right from the moment of first contact you are made to feel like the most important person in the world. From there you will deal with Ester who looks after the guests as Guest serices manager on the Island. She will help you plan in detail every requirement you have, and of course by the time you arrive her staff will know pretty well all your likes and dislikes.

Every villa has a Houseman, and he will know exactly what you like to drink and eat, and at what time of the day. He will bring you the chef to plan your daily menu and just attend to all the details that will make your stay at Cayo Espanto so fantastic.

In addition with other housemen he serves your meals, brings your drinks, turns down your bed, and opns up the walls of your villa in the morning to the warm sun. You can contact him day or night by walkie talkie, and he will do as much or as little, be in evidence or not according to your wishes.

Food at Cayo Espanto Belize

Cayo Espanto is famed for its food, and there is plenty of it too, with extremely good sized portions. The two chefs are award winners, and they will pretty well cook exactly what you like, and of course you will have already told the office what that is before you arrive.

Meals are served inside or outside the villa, sometimes romantically by torchlight at the end of the dock, even full blown picnics on remote beaches off the island. Food and beverages are part of the all inclusive package you have paid for

Activities at Cayo Espanto 

This is essentially a place for being lazy, so there isn't much to do short of swimming off your deck, or canoeing round the island, but Ester can arrange tours all over Belize, either inland or water based. This includes Mayan Ruins, dive trips to the Mayan Ruins.
If in fact you want to swim with giant turtles, play with dolphins, even snorkel with sharks, then it can all be organised. 

Is Cayo Espanto for Me

Quite simply if you love quality and are accustomed to it in your travels then you will love Cayo Espanto. You need to appreciate quality.

If your idea of quality is a 5 star gin palace, partying every night in a disco, and the window seat on a charter flight, and you love burgers, then perhaps you'd do better elsewhere.
